NAFA’s mission is to educate documentary and independent filmmakers and empower independent film making through every stage of the process, from fund raising through casting, production, post-production and distribution.

NAFA believes that through proper education and resources, the art of story telling and film making can expand beyond the narrow vision of the current few, and empower people from all walks of life and environmental circumstances to tell their story.

We have many years of experience in business and the entertainment industry. We run our organisation and the projects we fund like a business. We do a full due diligence on everything we donate to. This includes other non-profits as well as independent film projects.
